Saturday's FUSE fashion show at Downtown's FAB marketplace lived up to its name with lots of hot-to-trot runway action (suprisingly, the models seemed even more pro than the ones at the GenArt show the night before). We loved the Flashdancey screen-printed cotton pieces by Spectr shown with sexy ghetto-gold and silver-plated bling by Minx and the billowy empire waist gowns of Annatarian.
In the name of fashion journalism and research, we couldn't leave empty-handed of course, especially since everything was way below wholesale. We snatched up a few Minx pieces, a gorgeous knitted cap from a great line called Mr. Funky and a one-of-a-kind-blouse from a newbie designer named Miquel Torres; all of which we plan to show off as we hit the city's most rockin' fashion fetes this week.
