Buy the Gossip Girl Closet: Only $38,560!
If you've been watching Gossip Girl, maybe you too have fallen in lust with their outfits. I've always had a soft spot for the preppy, WASP-y, schoolgirl look. Bluefly.com has been doing a promotional "buy the Gossip Girl closet" thing (though have been ever careful to include a "No celebrity endorsement implied" disclaimer). Just for kicks, I added up what it would cost to buy Blair's entire closet. I got to $38,560 and gave up because my finger was cramping up from pressing the calculator buttons. And that's just the first two pages out of six. Yeah. Crazy much? And STILL not as expensive as Sarah Palin's $150K RNC bankrolled wardrobe. The most expensive item is a $2,250 Fendi purse. Least expensive: $16.50 pink rock candy floral nylon tights from Look from London.
