Michael Jackson Infographic: Anatomy of a Pop Culture Apocalypse
Experiencing the untimely death of pop icon Michael Jackson through the 2009 equivalent of the Reuter's News Wire (eh hem Twitter) yesterday only further confirmed that nature of news and media has fundamentally changed (thanks, TMZ). And instead of writing a long analytical tl;dr treatise, we made an infographic (thanks DocStoc - click 'full screen' for a larger view).
While the L.A. Times, L.A. Weekly, blogger Sean Percival, ABC.com's Dan Patterson and countless others attempted to make sense of it all - we realized that opinions are like assholes, and on the Internet especially, everybody's got one, including Ryan Seacrest.
