Anti-Christ Protest at E3 Computer and Video Game Expo

• Dude, look, my family isn't Christian, they're Communist...but, still, that stunt, faking it all just to promote the game...that's seriously not messed up.

• When you throw a famous person the likes of Lindsay Lohan, in jailhouse it's a huge job for the correctional, they don't wish that. They're receiving a lot of press and stress on their detention facility. It gets all the other cons angry, it's not a good situation. Due to that, they're going to want to get her out quickly without looking like she's experiencing extraordinary treatment. At least that's what they say. Don't make me laugh! Bear in mind, Lindsay had a 90-day jail judgment of conviction, the ordinary person with that time in Los Angeles would be expected to do at least 22 or 23 days. But for Lindsay, now they're supposing two weeks total, so definitely she'd be getting it better than the rest. Just goes to show get famous get away with anything. Just ask OJ!!

With the little to no fanfare this game has received up until now (and the incredibly stupid premise of it - the poem is anything but "action-packed;" if it stays true to the source material I imagine it is an on-rails photography game like "Pokemon Snap"), it seems more than a little obvious to me that EA has paid these people to protest this game. Dante's Inferno has been around before John Carmack's parents were even a gleam in his to be grandparents eyes. Even Doom did this story before Doom 3. You do have a good point though, regardless of what game, or overall story they are following this basic idea has been done before, the people that are protesting this really are not smart, by any means. If they are going to protest this, then they should be protesting classic literature in general, not the video game, since the game is only a product of an old story.

• The people protesting obviously haven't read the Divine Comedy, which is the basis of the game. The poem is an allegory describing the Christian afterlife as it was understood in the Middle Ages. It is divided into three parts: Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise. He didn't want people to go to hell and neither do the makers of the game. I guess some people will protest anything.

• Personally, I hope, really, really hope, that gaming companies find this as funny as I do. Make this into the Konami code of this gen!
