Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood to Air on Adult Swim Beginning February 13

• It's an alternate version of the first anime series indeed, but is actually the original story based on the manga. So really, the first anime is actually the alternate version, though they are about the same from episodes 1-15, after that they are very different from each other. Both are nice series, but Brotherhood is the best.

• Fascinating take on this, being a pilot I'm constantly keen to understand much more about aviation.

• Flying a plane has constantly been a dream of mine, enjoyed reading your blog.

• i cannot wait. loved the manga, show, and movie. i just want to know. the origional FMA aired on [adult swim], was that dubbed as well, cause that looked good to me, or will this new FMA:B have the characters appear to stop moving their mouth while continuing to talk?

• I imagine only the first season's been dubbed so far. Funi can only do it so fast.

• They are probably only listing 1-26 right now because that is most likely considered the end of season 1. They did the same thing with Gundam 00 on Sci-Fi because at the time only Season 1 had been completed when they bought the rights. My bet is that one of the other 'new' series is going to be InuYasha: The Final Act. Even though Funimation could easily show both shows on their network, they'll get more viewership on AS, and since AS already had the first series, chances are people will tune in to the conclusion.

• I would assume they will be paying for more episodes if the first 26 get enough viewership. It'll be a little hard to get used to a different story with the same characters, but no different than the different universes in comics I suppose

• Weird. The new Fullmetal anime is supposed to last 63 episodes, but Adult Swim's only showing up to episode 26? What's up with that?

• Gonna be freakin awesome, the second series pwns the first and with the voice actors a little more experienced the dub with be ever greater. I recommend this show to anyone! 10x the action, romance, comedy, emotion, and bonds than the first.

• Well that's one down, though there's still the matter of the other 2 series AS has announced it is putting out. Any word on the other two?
