Attention, super-avid Avatar fans who are also into linguistics: Paul Frommer, the USC professor who created the Na'vi language used in James Cameron's film, will be lecturing and signing DVDs at Laser Blazer on Pico tomorrow night. You have to buy the film at Laser Blazer in order to get Frommer to sign it, but otherwise the lecture is free. There's more info at the store's website.
