You Wear Eyes On Your Ears: Cracked Eye Earrings
This week's Etsy Weirdness of the Week: cracked eye earrings. Lots of people wear those "evil eye" amulets to ward off evil, but this particular execution seems especially disconcerting. Why are they eyes? Why are they cracked? Did the person cry too much, thus resulting in dried out eyelids? Who wears eyes on their ears? 
The cracked eye earrings are designed by Athens Greece-based Christine Flerianos and are available for $140.
For the truly daring (or paranoid), the cracked eyes also come in a necklace version. But maybe that's too matchy-matchy.
