The Realest Real Housewives at UCB: A Celebration of the Best Show Ever + Paul Scheer!

Despite that it conflicted with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion show, diehard fans of the series (or at least diehard fans of hilarious women) turned out to see The Realest Real Housewives at the Upright Citizens Brigade last night - a reenactment roundup of the greatest catfight drama scenes in franchise history.

The cast was really a who's who of VHI's Best Week Ever. Alums Melissa Rauch, Jessica St. Clair and Danielle Schneider joined Casey Wilson, famously of SNL, June Diane Raphael, Morgan Walsh and surprise guest and stand-in househusband Paul Scheer!

The ladies (and gentlemen caller) took us on the grand U.S. tour: New York, Orange County, Atlanta, D.C., New Jersey and Beverly Hills, using real dialogue from the show to create caricature performances of the best mama drama moments. Weave pull? Check. Table flip? Totally. Electronic cigarette? Absofrigginlutely.

Raphael as Kim Zolciak, gettin' her hair did.
Of course, avid watchers of the show likely got the most out of the reenactments, having seen the originals and knowing the high-level hilarity the real Real Housewives already bring. Still, even if you never flip to Bravo, there was no denying these seasoned comedians' ability to do some of the greatest impressions on the block. Schneider's overly-Brit accent for DC Catherine was a hoot, as was her legato Camille Grammer voice. Walsh's 0-to-60 angry Sheree rant killed, as did St. Clair's bi-curious Danielle Staub. Wilson's New Jersey Theresa freak out was better than the real thing ("Prostitution whooooore!"), and despite being a brunette, Raphael perfectly embodied Kim from Atlanta. Rauch was a stand out star, nailing New Jersey's Caroline Manzo. "You know what you are? You know what you are? You know what you are?" [Long pause.] "You're a clown," she told pseudo-Danielle, breaking for a split second to laugh with the crowd.

Here are are few more of our favorite moments:

The opening number: A "Tardy for the Party"/"Money Can't Buy You Class" dance off.

ucb5.jpg
An OC gem: Rauch lays on her best adolescent angst as Lynne's daughter Raquel, confessing her plans for a nose job to "prettier sister" Alexa.

ucb8.jpg
Narrator Matt McConkey channeling Andy Cohen, grilling DC Housewife Michaele (Wilson) on whether or not she was, in fact, a Redskins cheerleader in the '80s. Or the '90s. Or ever.

ucb6.jpg
Scheer as Sheree's party planner, telling her like it is.

ucb11.jpg
Schneider as Camille Grammer of Beverly Hills and Rauch as cig-sucking Allison Dubois during the dinner from hell.

And nothing beat the ladies' periodic lineup of one-liners.
