Nathan Fillion is no stranger to comic book conventions. Man or woman, any geek will swoon at the mention of his name. In reverence to his most popular sci-fi series, Firefly, a lot of us still refer to him as 'the Captain.' Seamus Dever (Detective Kevin Ryan), Jon Huertas (Detective Javier Esposito), Tamala Jones (Lanie Parish), Molly Quinn (Alexis Castle) and executive producer, Laurie Zaks joined Fillion at the convention to promote the fourth upcoming season of Castle.
Castle is about Richard Castle (Fillion), a famous mystery novelist who stirs up trouble here and there at the NYPD, forming an unorthodox partnership with Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic). Together, they solve crimes and also experience dangerous situations together mixed with Fillion's well-known charming flair.
The last season ended in a cliffhanger with someone shooting Beckett at the cemetery during an attempt assassination. ![]()

"She's dead," Fillion answered, deadpan, about Beckett's fate before breaking into laughter. "What can I say that won't spoil the beautiful first episode [of season four]? A lot of things happened that can't be undone. Words were said, bullets were fired. There's going to be repercussions."
He revealed his idea for a Castle-centric episode. "I am constantly pitching an episode where we see life through Castle's eyes. I think Castle is a little off as far as his perception goes. Very, very clever man, but I want to see the world as Castle sees it-- A kind of rose-colored glasses, all the women find him irresistible, all the guys find him super cool and do everything he says. He's tough. There's theme music when he walks."
