SoCal Zombie Walk this Saturday: Some Dos and Don'ts

If the answer to that question is "no," then you are in some serious trouble. Look around. Is there a tree of some sort you can climb up onto? Zombies are known for their poor physical coordination (stumbling, shambling, dragging feet, etc.). I'd bet that climbing is not in their repertoire of moves. Another option is hiding. Did you come to this event in costume? It is highly possible that your zombie makeup is so convincing, so real, so undead, that actual zombies will be fooled by it. In this case, my advice is to bring your A-game zombie walk (see: Shaun of the Dead, how to walk like a zombie scene). Finally, you might try fighting your way out should the "real" zombies attack. Can you fashion some sort of rudimentary weapon from any available resources? A branch from the tree to use as a spear? A severed leg to use as a club? Think along those lines and you can't go wrong!
