Fashion's Night Out 2011 came to the Los Angeles area last night, with retail stores open later than usual and lots of champagne flowing for shoppers and guests. In Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive turned into a posh street fair -- complete with a Ferris wheel.

Later in the evening, the fashion-forward crowd continued the party, which included a bash thrown by drag legend Constance at Bar Marmont on the Sunset Strip and attended by Details magazine founder Annie Flanders.

On Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, the world-famous street was blocked off to cars and shoppers took a whirl on the popular Ferris wheel as other folks strolled through the stores of Prada, Dior and Tom Ford.

At Dior Homme, fashionistas checked out the latest men's styles and listened to a deejay's hard, driving beats. Joshua Nixon (above) seemed to think FNO was something other than a night of shopping.

"It's a benefit, right?" he asked us, sipping on champagne.

We shrugged and said FNO was supposed to help the economy.

"We wish it were going to AIDS," he replied.

At the other Dior store, Phyllis Navidad, owner of the POP tART Gallery in Los Angeles, which is throwing a "Trunk Show & Fashion Soiree" on September 30, served as a hostess.

"It's going to be a great night," Navidad told us. "And look! I'm wearing couture!"

After the shops closed, some FNO revelers headed over to a packed Bar Marmont on the Sunset Strip, where they mingled with drag icon Constance, Details magazine founder Annie Flanders and window display artist Mito Aviles of CM Squared Designs.

Fashion's big, fun night didn't want to end.
