Thursday began horrifically in Winnetka, Los Angeles with a man calling 911 after killing three of his relatives. By the time the standoff was over, the gunman and a SWAT officer were also dead. Later that day, in Kirkwood, MO, a suburb of Saint Louis, a man goes to city hall and opens fire, shouting "Shoot the mayor" and then kills five, including two police officers before police killed him. This morning, a woman attending Louisiana Technical College shot and killed two of her fellow nursing students before killing herself.
You tell me.

I can tell you...it sucks!!!! We, America, in general have a serious problem. Our answer to any disappointment is to make someone else pay for it. Our media, new papers, television, internet etc. are all aiding in building a psychotic population that thinks life should be perfect, that they can get away with no morals, that others can take care of the environment, that we can send armies anywhere we deem okay to feed our egos as a super power and huge consumer of vital resources of the world, , and still be top of the pile world-wide. This is getting worse by the minute. We need to grow up and get a real life!

We need to turn it off.
Less time watching TV, commercials for crap we don't need, playing video games, sitting in front of a computer.
More time going for a walk, going to a park, riding a bike.
It sounds ridiculously simple, but exercise works as well as anti-depressants.
It probably won't stop any murders, but it might help us from feeling so much despair about it.

You have no scars on your face, and you cannot handle pressure.

America sucks.
Ronnie Ray-Gun threw open the doors to the nut houses, and a nut kills several people. Ronnie was an idiot.
Fascist cops abuse their positions to harass a businessman, who, after years of abuse goes around the bend and takes revenge on his abusers. Small town games come back to haunt the players.
Americans f@#k with each other too much. Therein lies the problem. The American't government f@#ks with Americans so much they think it's normal and start f@#king with each other.
The American't soul is fascist at heart. When is the last time you heard someone say: "go ahead - it's a free country"? When is the last time you heard someone (perhaps yourself)say "there outta be a law"?
Mind your own f@#king business. Don't worry about what the other guy is doing unless he's f@#king with you. Worry about your own sh*t.
When the American'ts f@#k with you - f@#k right back with them. Let them know it's our country and they work for us!
Since your question is really about gun control just remember that we are all going to need guns very soon when the jack booted thugs start coming into our homes to steal what we've worked so hard and put up with way to much for!
If guns kill people does that mean pencils misspell words?
Time to get real. Don't argue about silly sh*t like the false choices of pepsi or coke, democrat or republican, black or white, men and women...it's all bullsh*t designed to distract you from the f@#king you're getting by the American'ts!
Wake the f@#k up America!!!!

I don't know for sure, but I think a lot about the fact that people seem profoundly disconnected from each other, and are more than ever focused on the self, without regard for others. Perhaps the values of the "Me" generation have become the norm. Certainly the media has helped to reify self-reference as a desired quality. Our love of competition and commerce has help to separate us as well. Recent political and military history certainly hasn't helped us to become more compassionate. It isn't any one thing...many factors, I think, have contributed to an increase in aggression, self-reference, hopelessness, and so on. So, there is no easy answer. Things feel "out of kilter," though don't they?
