Fashion designer Anand Jon Alexander faces life in prison today following his conviction on 16 charges of sexual assault and lewd conduct with minors. He was acquitted on four charges, while the jury deadlocked on three other counts.

"Mr. Alexander is a 34-year-old pedophile masquerading as a fashion designer," said deputy district attorney Frances Young during a press conference following the verdicts. Young prosecuted the case with DDA Mara McIlvain.

Wow. I just finished reading all over the internet about this case. For all of the girls that got hurt, I am so happy for you that the wonderful prosecutors were able to procure such an outstanding result. The entire family of this sick and criminal sex addict appears to be a bunch of grifters and fraudsters. There was never any designing and they replaced the labels of other people's clothes? They were obsessed with gaining fame and fortune and therefore attributed such motives to rape victims? Their entire operation was smoke and mirrors to try and make themselves celebrities and cash in on it and their heads got so big they let a pedophile operate in their midst? Absolutely crazy. They should ALL be in jail--the mother, the sister and the husband. The husband is even now passing himself off to the Indian press as a technical expert for defense counsel so I guess they plan to go to India and dine off of their phony victimization. Grifters and fraudsters to the end. You go girls. I think it took way too long to bring this rapist and his family down but better late than never. Someone should write a book about the rapist and his family of grifters and aiders and abettors. It's an unbelievably sordid story with many victims. The girls who testified online and in court are heroes for bringing this man and his family down. I'm so sorry he, and they, hurt you.

how can you wish sexual predation on someone while condemning their similar actions? listen to yourselves! the law was enforced, and the guilty will go to jail. but wishing for him to be raped makes you as bad as him. and spare me the knee-jerk reactions. i know what i'm talking about. my cousin was raped and murdered 24 years ago. her killer is serving a life sentence. i wish him no harm.

Thank God for karma and the American justice system :) I am beyong ecstatic. All the dirty comments from sanjana and team calling us sluts and whores were so worth it because of this moment. I have tears in my eyes because I'm SO happy this pedophile will rot in jail. I can finally move on now in peace and not have to wonder or fear anymore. This is a very, very good day.
