What's up with that? Strange, there's a blog on Trutanich's site, but the only problem for you is that you cannot be anonymous there. This story is about alleged date rape, not Jack Weiss and his pathetic phony photo-op play-pretend attempt to convince uninformed voters that he stands for anything but advancing his political career. So keep your slimy slurs to yourself and remember that we are a country of laws, and that due process demands that ALL persons accused of crime are entitled to a fair trial. I know that's inconvenient for Weiss, and his knowledge of law is limited, but let's see what happens with the case. OK?

Im not condoning rape but when some girl gets drunk and hoes herself out then she has to face the wrath of her sorority sisters or some other spiteful girls.....she gets called a ho and a slut and so on....but if you claim "rape" and I was "drunk" and dont remember, then you can use that to save your rep. • Dear Susan, who is really an operative for the Jack Weiss campaign: Take your political smear campaign elsewhere; we don't want it on the LA Weekly comment boards. The Times reports that the drinks were likely spiked with something that knocked the women out (this article mentions it too, so the women didn't intentionally get "sloppy drunk"; at least one remembers passing out right after she drank the punch and woke up raped and half-naked. This story seems to have some facts wrong but if we read more closely I don't see how the women can be blamed, unless women shouldn't ever attend frat parties anywhere. Or is it just USC? Still it makes one wonder about the "culture" at USC where from frat houses to the football team, women are often considered playthings and rape seems to happen more often than elsewhere. Too bad for them Carmen Trutanich is running for City Attorney and no longer "on speed dial" for all such high-profile USC rape cases. Wonder who they're getting to represent them now? I'm sure that tearing down the women's reputations and blaming them for being there in the first place like James did and which is a Trutanich trademark will be part of the defense. Having said this I've known some extremely decent men who graduated from there, but some take the University of Spoiled Children moniker too seriously.

• What the hell are they doing over there. Girls should know better than this. Stop drinking once you get buzzed and always have friends with you, you can trust. It's not cute at all when you are sloppy drunk and can't take care of yourself
