• Looks like we need to add Zine and Reyes to the list of city and county officials that need to be removed from office. So far, Trutanich, Cooley, Zine and Reyes are on my list. But of course, FALSEtanich takes his legal opinions from the guys who bought his election and twisted arms to get rightwing Republicans to endorse him: Cooley and Zine. Surprised to hear Reyes going along with this scheme to circumvent PlUM committee hearing to try to ram it through the full Council, the way Trutanuch got the gullible council to agree to his "advice" to order Wendy Greuel to ditch her lawyer (inherited from Chick as lawyer "for the acting Controllerr") so that she had to go into court represented herself -- something the judge said was nonsensical, said in so many words it made no sense to buy FALSEtanich's argument that he could both sue the Controller and at the same time was the ONLY one allowed to "defend" her. So now this egomaniac will continue to litigate and run up bills to screw the lawyer and Controller who he solemnly vowed to support, to get Chick's endorsement when he needed her. (Same game he's playing with Jan Perry who he threatened to arrest along with the interim head of Building & Safety for disagreeing wiht his faulty interpretation of the billboard ICO - AEG had certain approvals grandfathered in as part of their taking on the lease some 15 years ago, to deny that is to guarantee a lawsuit the city will lose.) Clearly Zine (and Reyes?) want to avoid a hearing in PLUM because new member Koretz authored an Assembly bill making it legal for medical cannabis patients to get their pot at regulated shops, taking the sales out of the underground where the criminals and Mexican Drug Cartels FALSEtanich uses as a bogeyman rule. The pro-medical cannabis community rallied to elect Koretz and may have played a crucial role in a low turnout election. This partisan war on the sick, which would create a NEW class of felons out of people who are not criminals, is going to cost us a fortune and FALSEtanich/ Cooley WILL lose in court.
