Jackson Death Certificate Amended, Reports State

Michael Jackson's death certificate has been quietly amended to reflect more specific causes in what the coroner has called a homicide. The certificate, according to a posting by the U.K.'s News of the World, states that the King of Pop's June death was the result of "acute propofol intoxication" and "intravenous injection by another" (via Entertainment Weekly).

Jackson died June 25 after attempts to resuscitate him failed. The question surrounding his death is whether his personal physician, Conrad Murray, injected the pop star with the fatal dose. A spokeswoman for Murry told EW that "we can confirm that we have not received notice of an impaneled grand jury and Dr. Murray has not been invited to testify."

The Los Angeles District Attorney's office, however, states that "nothing has changed" and that "we don't have the case" against Murray.
