Well, that was then. Now, Hahn is in the fight of her life against San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, who jumped into the race last month. This weekend, she'll be waging an all-out battle for the party's endorsement at the state convention.
According to Matier & Ross,
Hahn is breaking out the checkbook big time, for everything from a Friday night chocolate and martini party for the convention's 2,800 delegates to "Hahn 2010" hand sanitizer.Newsom's advisers say they don't expect to win.
