• When you have a celebrity like Lindsay Lohan, in jail it's a sizable job for the guards, they don't wish that. They're taking a lot of press and focus on their detention facility. It gets all the other cons provoked, it's not a satisfactory position. Due to that, they're going to want to get her out quickly without giving the impression that she's getting special treatment. At least that's what they say. Don't make me laugh! Bear in mind, Lindsay had a 90-day jail sentence, the common individual with that time in Los Angeles would be expected to do at least 22 or 23 days. But for Lindsay, now they're alleging two weeks total, so definitely she'd be getting it better than the rest. Just goes to show get famous get away with anything. Just ask OJ!!

• The area between Downtown L.A. and Western Ave. is the old westside. It is the "western Addition" to the City as it initially pushed westward towards the ocean. Western Ave. does not mark the beginning of the westside, as so many erroneously believe, but rather marked the western boundary of the City. So a few names which would be appropriate for this area would be West-Central L.A., Old Westside, Historic Westside, Near Westside. And if anyone insist on still calling it the eastside then call it the eastside of the westside, because that is exactly what it is. It's the eastern portion of the Greater Westside region of the City

The Eastside is referred to i.e. Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, El Sereno, and NOT Silverlake, Echo Park, etc. These new kids want to be hip.
