Ex-LA Weekly Writer Scott Foundas Wins 'Critic Of The Year' Award
Film writer Scott Foundas won the "print critic of the year" award at the Los Angeles Press Club's third annual National Entertainment Journalism Awards Thursday night for his body of work published in LA Weekly. He left the paper at the beginning of the year to take over associate program director at Lincoln Center in New York.

Foundas also won an award for best print feature/profile for a piece on "Mike Tyson, James Toback and the Ties that Bind." Other winners included KTLA News' Sam Rubin for career achievement, thewrap.com's Andrew Gumbel for best online news reporting, ABC7's George Pennacchio television coverage of entertainment, and the Christian Science Monitor's Peter Rainer for best online critic.
