Bicyclists Plan Big Meeting Tonight Regarding LAPD Conduct

• I ride to and from work and am a life long cyclist @ 41! These bicyclists from Midnite Riddazz are mostly good law abiding folks, but there is an overabundance of drunk instigators in these rides that I for one am glad are getting checked by the LAPD. Like was said earlier, they're bullies on bikes and if the Midnite Riddazz cannot or will not police their own, then the LAPD have got to do it! This cannot continue, with these mass rides and drunk assholes scaring the crap out of children and innocent families, just because they happen to be in a car. Seriously, they are pissed because they got a pedal kicked at 5 MPH by a cop????? What a bunch of cowardice cry-babies! They kick and punch on cars all night and scare good folks and their kids, and this little number is when they cry foul! WEAK!!!!!!!! check out their website at www.midnightridazz.com you will see all the evidence of the extreme drinking and marijuana smoking that goes on by these riders while out on the rides. Nuff-said! Clean up your act or suffer the consequences of lawless behavior Riddazz!

• The LAPD is definately sending people to tonight's meeting of the City of Los Angeles' Bike Advisory Committee Meeting. In fact, the Cyclist/LAPD Task force has confirmation that Sgt. Krumer, Lt. Torsney, Commander Villegas will all be present.

• I used to cycle because I didn't own a car, I followed ALL the rules, I was a baker at Whole Foods and I certainly wasn't jamming up traffic at 3:30am on my way to work or at 11:30am on my way home. I was careful to only take routes that were safe for a cyclist and if I was EVER unable to keep up with the speed of traffic or in the way I IMMEDIATELY changed course. I also did a lot of cross state & cross country cycling/camping and followed all rules established for the occasional highway use-which totally sucks to have to do. Many of these folks here are riding fixed gear bikes which should NEVER be allowed on the street. ESPECIALLY IF THEY DON'T HAVE BRAKES! [That means you, bearded white belt!] They block traffic for up to 45 minutes on the HUGE gatherings while a bunch of 19 year old pink shoe-laced and 30 year old wanna be film makers drink PBR's as they coast through three lanes of traffic. Guess what, not all of us are losers with part time jobs at the coffee shop down the street. Some of us have jobs to get to, or friends to meet up with, or kids to get home to, so please, as we try to be considerate of you, do the same. They're ridiculous. No, make that, moronic.

• Good for LAPD. Why give in to these losers who are a bunch of nerds. They're doing all of this for publicity. Their main guy wants to run against Councilman LaBonge for city council. Why should LAPD show up just to hear these losers go off on them when other sites are posting against the bikers. People are sick and tired of them jamming up traffic acting as if they own the streets of LA. They are a bunch of nerds who have nothing better to do. Sites have said you can't see anything on the video. The problem is the media isn't saying these nerds didn't have a permit to protest, ran through a lot of red lights and stopped an intersection to allow their boys through before LAPD got there.
