Mexico Makes Extradition Request For 'Survivor' Producer Suspected In Wife's Killing
Authorities in Mexico on Wednesday began extradition proceedings against former Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman, who has been charged in the death of his wife, Los Angeles restaurateur Monica Beresford-Redman.

The Mexican request was being processed by federal authorities in the United States. Despite being told by Mexican authorities to stick around, he slipped back into the states last month and has been seen living at his Rancho Palos Verdes home.
However, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Los Angeles reported that it had yet to be informed of the extradition requested.
Monica Beresford-Redman's body was discovered April 8 in Cancun, where the couple had been vacationing with two children. The producer had reported her missing, but authorities quickly zeroed in on him as a suspect.
Between her death and discovery, Bruce Beresford-Redman had quickly traveled to the United States to drop of their children. Then he went back, where authorities told him to stay put. A warrant was issued for his arrest in Mexico last month.
The producer's attorney maintains his innocence and has said they will fight extradition.
Monica Beresford-Redman was the owner of Palms Brazilian eatery and nightspot Zabumba.
