DUI Checkpoints Scheduled For 4th Of July Weekend In Los Angeles
If you're driving and celebrating this 4th of July weekend, don't let the alcoholic fireworks go off in your head: The men and women in blue will find you and make you dance in the street like a high-wire artist. The following DUI and drivers license checkpoints have been announced (don't say we didn't warn you):

-Friday from 6 p.m. Friday through 1 a.m. at Broadlawn Avenue and Cahuenga Boulevard West near Universal Studios.
-Friday on Florence Avenue between Broadway and Main Street in South Los Angeles.
-Friday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. at undisclosed locations in West Covina.
-Sometime over the holiday weekend on Atlantic Boulevard south of Hastings Street in East Los Angeles.
