Former Los Angeles Clippers Player Lorenzen Wright Reported Missing
The NBA star disappeared while visiting his kids at his ex-wife's house in Collierville, Tenn. According to reports, he left the house at 2 a.m. while everyone was asleep.
"There is nothing on his phone records, no bank transactions, his vehicles are still at his house," Lt. Norm Dixon of the Collierville police told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "It's like he literally dropped off the face of the earth."
Though police do not suspect foul play, the family of Wright suspects otherwise.
"If he did go somewhere, someone could get in touch with him," Adriane Harris, Wright's sister said, "No one can."
Wright starred his career with the Los Angeles Clippers after being drafted No. 7 overall at the University of Memphis in 1996. He played for the Atlanta Hawks from 1999-2001, spent the next five seasons with Memphis, and returned to the Hawks for two more years in 2006-08. From 2008-2009, Wright played for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
