Suspect Steve Quintanilla Sentenced For Setting Off Lakers Unrest In Downtown Los Angeles
Remember those riotous Lakers fans in June who set a few fires, threw rocks and bottles at police, and destroyed a taxicab?

The Los Angeles City Attorney's office didn't forget, and today it announced that Steve Quintanilla has been sentenced to three months in jail for his role in setting off the, er, festivities.
Quintanilla pleaded no contest this week to one count of inciting a riot; he was sentenced to 90 days behind bars, 12 months of probation, and a steady, one-year diet of staying away from Staples Center.
"Quintanilla was observed by officers lighting a Boston Celtics jersey on fire and encouraging others in the crowd to participate in the violence," according to the City Attorney's office.
The defendant was one of more than 45 people arrested June 17 after the Lakers beat the Celtics at Staples Center for the NBA championship. Ten people have been charged in the unrest so far, according to the City Attorney's office.
Quintanilla was on parole at the time of his arrest, which means he'll get a return ticket to prison for six months.
