An autopsy on the 15-year-old girl who died after attending an Exposition Park rave was completed this week but the results were "deferred," a county coroner's official told the Weekly.

Sasha Rodriguez died at Los Angeles hospital Tuesday after she attended the two-day Electric Daisy Carnival event over the weekend. Drug intoxication was suspected. Coroner's Lt. David Smith said an autopsy was performed Thursday but results wouldn't be released until a toxicology test was completed. That could take up to three months, he said.

Her death and unruly conditions at the event prompted Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and county Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky to question whether raves should be held at a publicly owned venue. As a result, such events were temporarily banned at the coliseum.

Friends of Rodriguez planned to hold fundraisers Friday and Saturday to help her family pay for her funeral.
