Christina Williams, L.A. Homicide No. 167: Pregnant Woman Fatally Shot in Leimert Park

A pregnant woman who was fatally shot as she sat alone in a car in Leimert Park July 29 has been identified as 37-year-old Christina Williams. Williams, who was seven months pregnant, was shot multiple times about 11 p.m. Thursday near 42nd Street and Fourth Avenue. Paramedics took Williams to California Hospital where she died. Detectives are unsure if she was a victim of a drive by shooting or if the shooter walked up and shot her. The attack does not appear to be gang-related.
