Hot enough for you yet? Still complaining about that cool summer? Didn't think so. And it looks like Madre Nature is about to turn it up a notch. The National Weather Service has issued a notice that states, in part, "dangerous heat expected" for Wednesday.

The usual suspects should be on guard, according the NWS: Santa Clarita Valley, San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley,Thousand Oaks, Newhall, Valencia, Woodland Hills, Northridge, Burbank, Universal City, Pasadena, San Gabriel, and Pomona.

That "excessive heat watch" we told you about earlier this week is in effect until at least 8 p.m. Wednesday.

On Tuesday Lancaster broke its record for the date, reaching 108 degrees. Palmdale Airport tied its record high for the date -- 107.

As we reported Tuesday, the city of Los Angeles will again "cooling centers" Wednesday for those who need relief.
