Hollywood Boulevard Superheroes Reunite For 'Hall Of Injustice' After LAPD Sweeps Them From The Street

• Ignorance is bliss as can be seen by LA_Native comment. Each of the persons he mentioned are the problem. Not a single one he mentioned is of the group of good non harassing, non tip asking for, completely willing to organize and pay taxes type of characters that are fighting for this freedom. Lets take ignorant point of view on this. I once saw a Mexican piss on the sidewalk. Now lets arrest ALL Mexicans because they all piss on the sidewalk. Believe it or not I once saw a black man sell some weed, ARREST THEM ALL, they are all rogue. Crazy drug dealers the lot of them. Our president too, he is Black, must be a drug dealer. One day a white guy walked past my lady and exposed himself. DEATH TO ALL WHITE MEN!!! and on another day a person claiming to be a LA Native wrote a completely uneducated ignorant post about something he knows only one side of. OFF WITH HIS HEAD and now, since its established, anyone who posts must also be just as ignorant so ROLL THE HEADS!! off with them all. In all seriousness. These characters had a bad group come in that ruined it for all. The police, as deep in the pockets of big business as they are, decided to arrest everyone instead of taking one moment to look and see who was actually the problem children. The good characters, as shown in the above picture are the ones that have always been willing to organize and get permits and pay taxes. For 20 years the police said no permits or anything was needed. Now its needed so instead of making comments based on the rogue group, please show some support for these characters above who are mentioned in travel brochures worldwide as the thing to see in Hollywood...They are good people and just want to be allowed to continue the tradition that has been in Hollywood since the 1920's.

• Simple solution is for the city to licence them as street performers. That way only linced performers/actors can be out there - also run drug tests and background checks. Have them set up their own union as well.

• I agree! They got sketchier and sketchier. I prefer they stay off the street for good (I wouldn't want any sex offenders taking pics wiht my kid!) but if there is a compromise I suggest there's a permit/business license required. I'm self employed and I need one so what makes them special.

• While I admit a couple of these folks were ok. I've worked in Hollywood for 4 years now and can't say that I miss them. Hasseling tourists, blocking stars on the walk of fame and demanding "tips" to move so you can take a photo, peeing on the sidewalk!?!? It was too much and the crack down was long overdue! Before everyone starts crying about poor superman and friends, did you know???? * 1 of the characters is a known prostitute * Another was a registered sex offender * one had $1500 cash in his pocket when arrested either the tips or good or drug sales are up. Not to mention you can bet these folks don't pay taxes * a few had arrest warrants including a recent arrest of a Character who was wanted in another state for Rape involving a weapon * And most of those cited or arrested had some sort of criminal history on file. * Let us not forget Chubaka head butting a tourist and the other mentall unstable types that are hiding in costume This has gone from a couple of "starving artists" who were doing this between auditions and become a mecca for the homeless in filthy costumes to harrass and even assualt tourists and members of the community. I for one thank the efforts of the City for taking action and doing something about this problem!
