Hollywood PR guru Howard Bragman has announced today that he's representing JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater, the Thousand Oaks resident who made national headlines last week for telling off passengers at the end of a flight.

Bragman writes on his Facebook page that he will help Slater "sort out the scores of offers that have come through in the past week from media, producers, brands and other interested parties."

Slater could sure use Bragman's expertise as a public relations expert who excels in handling media crises.

As L.A. Weekly wrote last week, no one on board the plane has been able to confirm Slater's story that a passenger cursed at him and hit him with a piece of luggage. In fact, some people say Slater seemed headed toward a meltdown during the entire flight.

Still, Bragman writes on his Facebook page: "I very much believe that Steven touched a nerve with the American people and am proud to be helping him tell his story at the appropriate time in the appropriate way."
