iPhone App Allows Fans To Search For Stars On Hollywood Walk Of Fame
An iPhone application allowing people to search for their favorite stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was unveiled Wednesday, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced.
Those eager to find the stars of Lucille Ball, Clint Eastwood or Mark Wahlberg can now do so with a few strokes of their fingers using their iPhones.
"This is the 'official' Walk of Fame phone application and the best place to get information about this international known icon,'' said Leron Gubler, president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Fans can search for their fave celebs by name, ethnicity or birthplace. The application also gives users a heads up about new stars, and related ceremonies, along the Walk of Fame.
The "Official Hollywood Walk of Fame App" is available at the Apple App Store for $1.99.
