Los Angeles Councilman Richard Alarcon Says He Expects To Be Indicted

• We need honest government with integrity. �Good leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion� Public confidence in the integrity of the Government is indispensable to faith in democracy; and when we lose faith in the system, we have lost faith in everything we fight and spend for.

• Bravo to you Mr Joel Ritz. Time to issue some supoenas, hold some hearings and review some documents.

• That's right ! He is a born crook so he is blameless ,it's the dumb people who elect him that should be paraded and tarred in public. His district is like a third world country with dirt streets and roads and peasants .

• It's about time. It has been common knowledge that this crook has been living in his wife's home in Shadow Hills since they were married. That's why he wanted then Councilmember Greuel to re-draw her district so he could include the Shadow Hills home in his district. This is not a trumped up charge. Alarcon is corrupt and arrogant and fills his staff with incompetent relatives all dining at the Public trough as he has for years. The worst part is the STUPID voters that keep re-electing this fraud.

• Richard Alarcon's arrogant sense of entitlement showed after they were released when he met the press. Twenty-four felonies between two people? With that many "strikes" against them, they will have yet another new address - Casa Grande with vista de nada. LA Sinecure

• They keep dropping like flies...the extent of deceit and self-serving schemes by our elected public servants is staggering. I keep wondering if politics breeds corruption or if corruption breeds politicians, either way it's important that we keep draining the swamp. Next, please...

• This is ridiculous. All of those counts because he sometimes stays at a second house in Sun Valley? Give me a break. When I think of all the crimnals in elected office who have gotten away with stealing money and selling out the American people, it makes my blood boil to think that our DA is going after somebody based on trumped up charges like this. Boy, they are really out to scapegoat certain groups of people these days.
