Saint John's Health Center of Santa Monica, hospital to the stars, will pay $5.25 million to the U.S. government to settle claims of over-billing Medicare. In doing so, the hospital acknowledges no wrongdoing.

The hospital, which is where Farrah Fawcett died, had been under investigation for over-billing since 2006, said Assistant United States Attorney Cathy Ostiller.

The government had alleged the hospital "turbocharged" its billing on the most expensive types of treatments, above the actual cost. The U.S. Attorney alleged the activity occurred between 1996 and 2003.
