Craigslist's Defunct 'Erotic Services' Ads Live On In Tijuana, And Some Women Offer North-Of-The-Border Sessions
Under pressure from law enforcers who said it was a haven for prostitution, Craigslist quietly shut down its "Adult Services" advertising section earlier this month, replacing it with the word "Censored." But U.S. users of the classified advertising site can still order up "sexy" and "beautiful" girls -- via Craigslist's Tijuana site. Orale! Or not.

Any way you view it, the adult-services game appears to be alive and well at Craigslist south of the border, where some women advertise "Tijuana prices," and others state they'll travel as far north as Oceanside -- not far from Orange County -- for an adult session. In fact ...
... the Tijuana section is called "Servicios Eróticos," or "Erotic Services," the original ad area that got the site unwanted attention last year after alleged "Craigslist Killer" Philip Markoff was charged with the murder of a woman who advertised her services on the Boston version of the section.

After a storm of criticism, Craigslist agreed to create an "Adult Services" area that it vowed to monitor closely. "Erotic Services" ad sections were pulled. Except, apparently, in Tijuana, where it appears to be thriving.
Prostitution is legal in Mexico, where it is fairly closely regulated. Problem is, some of the businesswomen appear to be offering to work just north of the border.
One woman with a "San Diego/Tijuana" ad claims to be 19 and beckons: "Try out my Girlfriend Experience." She's offering "5 hours together for only $500!"
Paul Levikow, communications director at the San Diego County District Attorney's office, seemed surprised by the cross-border marketing.
"You're the first person I've talked to about this," he told the Weekly. "I don't know if anybody knows about this in our office."
Levikow said Craigslist's defunct "Adult Services" section was definitely on the office's radar.
"It was not just sex but drugs and anything else illegal," he said. "We monitored it and we did have some busts."
