LAist notices something also flagged by a colleague: L.A. City Council President Eric Garcetti came back from the two week council recess with a beard, and it's not a very good one.

It could pass for a Silver Lake or Brooklyn hipster beard if Garcetti dressed differently and had radically different hair. Our colleague has his own very tough description of it.
Ahmadinejadian. That hurts. It's the heretofore unused adjective derived from the name of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
