Alejandro Stephens, Former SEIU Union Leader, Sentenced To Prison

• For the Record the E-board of UHW did vote to move the money we voted when democracy still existed in UHW...People will commit and say I would of not voted to move the money....To that i asked then were where you when the vote happend? Tell me how is that different from Dave Regan who admitted last august that UHW wasn't putting money into our strike fund did you or anyone vote for that.... What about when Dave Regan appointed ONE member to be the executor of the ED-Fund that UHW spent millions fighting to get back did you vote on that did you even know ....Was anyone concerned that Andy Stern was the #1 vistor to the white house in the fist 90days of obahma being in office....Or what about..nevermind the list of shadiness goes on and on. The first democratic thing to happen for UHW members is our upcoming election...NUHW we are coming home!

• Just another SEIU scandle. What about Tyrone Freeman, Jackson, Hobbs, Alereja, senator glignovich? sorry bout spelling. Im sure it goes deeper than this..... just 1 more to the list! Everytime theres a scandle SEIU will cover it up, keep it quiet and throw out other news to keep you away from the truth.. Ask the folks in LA about tyrone who stole all that $ to this day i dont think any has been paid back. Though being banned from SEIU for life is not a solution. I really wonder HOW MUCH $ IS IN SEIU RETIREMENT KITTY? WHERE ARE FUNDS ARE BEING FUNNELED AT THIS TIME? WHO IS IN THE TILL? I ould really love for SEIU to be audited! • Some people don't research much or they are just plain stupid , or maybe they have been drinking to much of SEIU'S PURPLE KOOL AIDE IF sal stole money from the members why wasn't he found guilty in the so called 25 million dollar law suit that SEIU brought against him and the others ???? How come all SEIU got was 735 thousand ???? These so called seiu organizers need to read the FACTS and start telling the members the truth!!!!! • ^^^ well this is just stupid, Dennis Romero has been a well-regarded journalist in L.A. for over a decade. I don't think he blogs for tiny unions in their internecine battles. And last I checked, that Rosselli guy isn't in prison, unlike several SEIU folks.

• this act sounds similar to what Sal roselli did with his funneling of union dues, to increase his power. he took money without the full membership voting to approve it. i know that I would not have voted to approve it. This blog sound very suspicious, like a certain blogger hired by NUHW to work for them up in NorCal for the Kaise campaign.

• In just a couple of years, SEIU has become one of the most corrupt unions in the country. When will the government sentence all of the other corrupt SEIU officials like Tyrone Freman, Rickman Jackson, Byron Hobbs and Annelle Grajeda? Here in LA, Tyrone Freeman, who was appointed to his job as the president of SEIU Local 6434 by SEIU's president Andy Stern, stole more than $2 million from low-wage healthcare workers. And Annelle Grajeda, who is the girlfriend of Alejandro Stephens, was named as a "co-schemer" in the criminal case that sent Stephens to jail. Can the Weekly publish a round-up of all the outstanding corruption investigations faced by SEIU?
