Marlon Harvey, L.A. Homicide No. 211: 38-Year-Old Gunned Down Near Westmont

A man fatally shot around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26, has been identified as 38-year-old Marlin Harvey. The shooting took place on the 1300 block of West 95th Street, between Vermont and Normandie Avenues, according to City News Service.

Witnessed told deputies, who found Harvey on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds, that an unidentified man had walked up to Harvey and shot him with a handgun. The suspect then ran west across Normandie Avenue.
Harvey was pronounced dead soon after at a nearby hospital. Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
