LAX Bikini Girl Corrine Theile Goes Viral In Half-Naked Protest Against TSA

Corrine Theile makes a point. We forgot what it was.
Perhaps one of the best things to come out of the TSA body-scan/pat-down backlash is the fact that it's now okay to wear (and view) bikinis at LAX. Yes, the woman known as "bikini girl" went viral with her own protest of the TSA's privacy-invading, unconstitutional security checks at America's airports.

As she headed home to Northern California for Turkey last week, Corrine Theile had LAX travelers California dreaming on such a winter's day.

Theile dropped her overcoat, went through a metal detector and, in her own words, "did a little spin."

What did the 31-year-old have to say?

"I feel like we can have security measures that don't make people feel uncomfortable."

This was supposed to be about our rights in the face of increasing (and unnecessary) government intrusion, not how comfortable we are when sipping lattes in the Tom Bradley terminal.

Still, seeing activists in bikinis somehow makes us feel that much safer. You don't see that at Dubai International.

There's a reason this whole TSA backlash started in SoCal and got its bikini on here. We're freedom-loving perverts. Touch us? That's a violation of our rights. Half-naked women? That's a protest. It's a fine line.

Okay, it was a slow-news weekend.
