Students flip tickets to Jan. 1's Rose Bowl game.
Kids these days. Guess we can't blame you for being entrepreneurs in the age of the Great Recession and tuition and fees that have risen faster than the price of gas in the last decade.

But have you gone too far?

Some University of Wisconsin collegians were called out this week for buying very-limited student tickets to Jan. 1's Rose Bowl game between the Badgers and the TCU Horned Frogs in Pasadena.

A UW-Madison student paper, the Badger Herald, actually published the names of students trying to resell $150 tickets (some for as much as $1,000) on Facebook Marketplace.

Only 5,800 tix were released to UW students.

The paper called the initial 38 flippers "The Worst People on Campus" and wrote, "Truly, there is a special place in Hell for people who buy Rose Bowl tickets with the sole intention of profiting from them."

Funny thing is, some of the students stood up for their entrepreneurial/unethical spirit.

"Of course it's unfair, the entire system is unfair," 21-year-old reseller Brad Gruener told the Journal Sentinel of Milwaukee. "If they want to call me a terrible person because I need the extra money to actually get to the game, fine. I don't really care. I am not going to lose sleep over it."

No shame in his game.
