Some fans lost it before USC-UCLA game.
Portions of that violent brawl before Saturday's annual USC-UCLA football game were captured on a video obtained and posted by KTLA News.

Reports differed on whether the fight, which ended in the stabbing of two men, was the fueled by a longstanding rivalry between fans of both teams or was simply sparked by drunk a-holes.

City News Service had this take over the weekend:

Witnesses said the melee broke out between two groups of tailgaters when a football tossed by a Bruin fan accidentally hit a Mercedes-Benz owned by a Trojan fan about 4:20 p.m. Saturday in Parking Lot 1.

The owner and his friends took offense and a fight broke out, during which they allegedly stabbed two men.

Two cops trying to break it up sustained minor injuries.

The main suspect appeared to be 44-year-old Arturo Cisneros or Northridge, who was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder.

A 27-year-old Cal State Fullerton student, Joshua Dirling, was hospitalized with the tip of a knife still embedded in his cheek. Vimal Patel, 24, was hospitalized in intensive care after he was stabbed in the back.
