'Chuck Norris'-Brand Marijuana Sold In L.A: The Actor Probably Not Happy About It

He isn't the first celebrity to have a strain of weed named for him, but Chuck Norris, a noted conservative, isn't taking the honor in stride.

We noted in the past that Michael Phelps has had a line of bud sold in his honor at some L.A. medical marijuana dispensaries.

But Chuck Norris Black and Blue Dream, sold in L.A., isn't really making the tough-guy actor high. In fact, he appears to be protesting.

A representative of Norris warned, "This is definitely not an authorized use of his name," according to TMZ.

Is there a lawsuit in the making?

No one is saying. The Boston Herald notes that Norris serves on the board of the National Council on Bible Curriculum in Public Schools.

We're pretty sure he doesn't want bible-study students smoking him after school.

Don't bogart the Chuck Norris, dude.

Americans/The World need to wake up the the destructive nature of religion.

Religion is a personal thing. Not to be forced on others. Even the prophets of most religions say this.... Yet its followers seem unable to do this and instead feel they must "spread the word". What narcissistic individuals!

Chuck Norris and the organizations board he sits on sole premise is to subvert church/state separation laws by introducing religion. Christian or otherwise into schools.

Chuck should feel honored about this! After all, calling a particular strain Chuck Norris implies that it kicks Ass! That is, unless this is a really poor strain - in which case it is an insult. Not having tried it I'm not sure which... I'm guessing it probably kicks ass :)

Chuck Norris was probably the fat stupid kid in elementary school that you felt sorry for when you were beating the tar out of him and stealing his lunch money but you still just couldn't help yourself.
