Are There Anti-Illegal Immigrant Latinos In L.A? Hell Yeah ...

Yes there are many anti-illegal immigration Hispanics, or Latinos in Los Angeles California. Having lived there most of my life (though I moved out more than a year ago) . The mainstream media has done its best to marginalize us anti-illegal immigration Latinos because our respect, and demand for the laws to be enforced run against the grain of the progressive media's campaign to push for legal status of illegals who are always portrayed as "victims" of the system. LA is now a ghetto in its totality thanks to the msm, LA Mayor Villaraigosa, LAPD chief Charlie Beck, LA County Sheriff Bacca and others who have been appointed or elected to positions of authority. In leaving California, where there is no future, I have done the best that i can for my family. California will have to be taken back and reclaimed as part of the USA through drastic but necessary actions. It is too far gone into lawlessness and corruption for voting to work. Whatever state you are in guard it closely and do not allow it to become like Mexifornia. California became Mexifornia because of our Federal, state, Republican and Democrat Parties and special interests (La Raza, Communist Party).

yes, i don't like any illegal or undocumented ( a political word for illegal ) immigrants in the U.S.A, but businesses and politicians want them here. the proof is all around us. all businesses have spanish and english language on their products and advertising , both republican and democrats want the LATINO VOTE, which means immigrant, and that makes the mexican/ hispanic AMERICAN a secondary voice ( if even that ) in the political arena and it also has the negative effect for all us Americans because it makes everyone think that all of us are immigrants. Ever since they were brought here i have had people try to speak to me in spanish, because i'm hispanic,latino,mexican, minority etc. and it's kinda upsetting and funny to have to  hear this, because like all of us i was born and raised in the u.s.a  For this i blame the immigrant leaders who have  not made the need to speak English in Americia a priority by letting businesses open under spanish name like a meat market (carcineria ) or a bakery (pandaderia ) etc. hispanics are not so stupid that they couldn't learn the american name for these places.( restraunts of course don't need to ). it's time to get these people to learn english. so that the children of AMERICAN BORN don't have to maybe be perceived as ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Why is all this happening anyway ? I have a theory that is sounding more factual then fiction. all the hoppla over the central and south american immigration all over the country is a smoke screen to cover the asian invasion that is happening in the san Gabriel valley ( the asian beverly hills ) there are millions of immigrant asians who can't speak english who are driving luxury cars owning businesses, wearing designer clothes , etc and not one news coverage on how this is happening, and no mention of the asian immigation by the poiliticians. p.s there are 12million illegal immigrants in america and 6 million are asian and the other 6 are immigrants from all over the world.

I agree with Robert. Illegal immigrants make it difficult for all legal Latinos. They take jobs away from Americans that are willing to work. Illegal Immigrants also are one of the largest groups pf prisoners incarcerated in our prisons. They are illegals and do not try to become a productive part of American society. Many of them have already benefited from our schools and welfare programs. They should be returned to their county. The country to which they still pledge allegiance. Hispanics against illegal immigration are just like muslims against islamic extremist (terrorists). Either speak up against the criminal activity or you will be seen as supporting it. Sorry, it's just the way ALL human beings see things.

You have to understand that illegal aliens play the system, there husband or boyfriends work at a competitive wage ( an American wage) they get paid cash under the table, simply because it is easier and cheaper for the contractor or business to do it that way, the business doesn't have to pay S.S, workman's comp or any other tax on employees, and then there wives or girlfriends either do the same thing or collect food stamps and medical with there anchor baby status. When I lost my job I went and applied for those benefits ( saddest day of my life) at the DES building there was me and 2 older white men a black man and his wife and at least 20-25 Hispanics, I have quite a few Hispanic friends and they want the illegals gone it is just as hard on them as it is any American. The problem lies with the "American" contractor or business, go after them and drive them into the ground take away there lively hood, and let a business that has America's best interest thrive. People on the white collar scale aren't threatened by illegals but the people in the trades and small business are devastated by them.

I am an American whose roots trace back to Mexico, daughter of an American WW2 veteran whose entire family of males of age joined the war effort. My father raised my sister and I to be Americans, English only, that we were Americans, not Mexican-Americans.

My sister and I live in Texas and it's kind of a sanctuary state. We feel like foreigners in our own country because these illegals treat US rudely because they look at our brown skin and expect us to be a certain way.

Lets start with this little bit of information and see how racist you are. IRS codes call for taxation on any illegal or ill-gotten gains. Penalty includes forfeiture and seizure of any and all funds and assets. By entering this country as an illegal alien you have committed a Felony. Any and all funds and assets you obtain are now subject to forfeiture and seizure. So if the country is in such dire need of funds, WHY THE HELL DOESN"T THE IRS DO THEIR JOB?

Every legal Latino I know is just as tired of the hell the illegals bring in as any of the rest of us. If you are legal, you don't have to worry about the law. I am white, American, and when I get stopped, the cops want my drivers' license, id or otherwise. Why shouldn't everyone else have to show the same?

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'. I'm all for people living the American dream, but you can't break in and steal it.

As the child of legal immigrants, I support Arizona completely. Soon after law was passed, I confidently vacationed there and proud of my country. My grandfather was born in the US and given citizenship because his parents were migrant workers and happened to be in the states when he was born. They raised him in Mexico and when he had a family of his own, he brought them over legally. My father, to this day carries his green card as a legal resident. My parents taught me that I am American first and Mexican by heritage. I appreciate both cultures and even speak, read, and write both fluently. I understand the desire to enter into the land of prosperity, but it took my family 3 generations to give me this life. I thank them every day, and how dare ANY illegal from ANY country break the law, then demand amnesty. The more laws we pass like Arizona the more they will get the point, and as proven by the fleeing of its illegal community to other states this summer; it works.

Not only in L.A. - they're everywhere. The vast majority of Latinos are law abiding citizens who know the difference between right and wrong and don't appreciate the illegals who are inundating our communities and undercutting those who take the time to immigrate legally.

Many years ago, Mexican families came here legally. They came in the front door, proved that they were upstanding and of good character, then made the US their home. We welcomed them with open arms and hearts. They did everything legally and enjoy all the benefits and rights of being a US citizen. They formed respectable communities, families and neighborhoods. I don't blame them at all for resenting those that taint their good name and reputation by coming here illegally, when they worked so hard to become respectable members of society. If you are here in the US illegally, you have no argument. You are ILLEGAL. We're locking the back door. You'll have to come knock on the front door now.

I think the murder of Rancher Robert Krantz and the recent murder of US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry should have opened everyone's eyes...yes, there are many Mexicans who are desperate to get to America for a better life but they are not ALL trying to accomplish that and we need to stop only considering them. There are plenty of bad guys that are trying to get here too and too many of them succeed!

My husband is a hard working US Border Patrol Agent and the amount of child molesters, rapists, gang members and even murderers that he has arrested since being in the patrol would make you sick to your stomach.

Just because the majority of illegals who cross the border are looking for work doesn't mean we're supposed to make it easier for the scum to get their jobs done too.

Unfortunately the national news does not cover enough of what happens here in Arizona. There are shootings on a daily basis at the Arizona border...their drug war is trickling into our country.

Everyone is making such a big deal about this law...all we are trying to do is make the country safer. There are not enough Border Patrol Agents to cover the entire Arizona border...it is just not physically possible to catch every single illegal that crosses and too many are getting through with drugs. The law is allowing police officers to help with a situation that is out of control. It is not stating that a police officer can just walk up to any Latin person and ask them to prove they are a citizen...it is saying (for example) that if you are pulled over for speeding and the officer senses that you are nervous, you can't tell him where you are going, you don't have a valid driver's license, etc. they can ask you for proof of citizenship. They cannot just randomly ask people on the street. I personally feel better knowing that a police officer can help stop the millions and millions of dollars worth of drugs that are getting passed our hard working Customs and Border Patrol agents.

I know that everyone is saying that it opens the door for police officers to ask every single Latin person that they stop but just like in every aspect of law enforcement, there is always going to be someone who breaks the rules...not every single police officer is out there looking to arrest Mexicans. There are so many Mexican police officers and Border Patrol agents. Yes, there may be some who take advantage of their badge, the Rodney King situation proved that but that is not the majority. The majority of police officers are there to make an honest living. You cannot assume that every single officer out there is racist...they are trying to make a living and put their lives on the line to provide for their families just like the "hardest-working (non) citizens"

Organizations like La Raza are the ones responsible for giving the impression that the Hispanic community as a whole support illegals.

I'm an American of Mexican descent (2nd generation) and I have lived in Phoenix, AZ all of my life. I am so disgusted with what I have watched happening to our city as a result of this illegal alien plague. Not only have the illegals trashed many nice neighborhoods here but they have also ruined the image that most people have had of Hispanics. Believe me when I say that their are plenty of Hispanic Americans here who are sick of them too!

Councilmen Huizar unable to respond to 1.5 million dollars of fund transferred out of the CLARTS fund designated for CD14. Coumcilman Alarcon illegally living out of his district. Fabian issues with his son, and the Governor reducing its sentences with support from our Mayor AV. This is more damaging to Latinos, or Mexican Americans than that illegal immigrants. Latino politicians like Huizar have a soft side for illegal, illegal food venders, and what else. Mariachis in Boyle Heights, do they pay taxes? do they have permits, think about it.

THE TAXPAYERS BURDEN—RAMPANT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads in part:

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the State wherein they reside."

As I see it that the Supreme Court has three identifiable stark Liberals that sit on the high bench, so the chances of amending the 14th amendment of the instant citizenship law has very little chance of passage. But taxpayers can turn to the immigration laws, to find a solution?

Illegal Immigration is a Crime

Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:

* Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or * Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or * Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact;

has committed a federal crime.

Simply this--the baby can stay, but the parent or parents are deportable and should be removed from the nation. Illegal entry should be classed as a felony, but has been diluted down to a civil infraction on behalf of the Liberal and Democrats. The foreign Mother can have a choice that is take the child with her, to her country of origin or allow the baby to be placed in foster care. If she decides to take the child with her then on reaching the age of 18 years, the adult can return and take advantage of his citizenship. This will save astronomical billions of dollars because we do not have to subsidize the Mother or the father, who entered America without permission. Only the foster parents will be applicable for the child's welfare and not the parents that have been deported. Every hospital must be charged with immediately contacting (ICE) Immigration and Customs Services to report a female with no entry visa, no papers. On being released from the hospital, taken before a federal judge an ordered to be deported, but given the choice to take the child with her or given over to Social Services. Of course the ACLU (The Communist Lawyers Union) will have something to say about it and religious nuts, but then if they want these illegal aliens to stay; let them pay for them.

Under the current rule the Mother can access a whole package of welfare entitlements, for the child, but we must remember if she continues to give birth than she is entitled to section 8 housing, that taxpayers are on the hook for? Once settled each child that is born immediately becomes an American citizen and the mother can apply for a estimated $600 more dollars for each one. If approved for low income housing the whole family, illegal or legal moves in and the sisters and other progeny gets pregnant and becomes a baby mill. This is not just trespassers from across our South most borders, but with a huge windfall of cash and welfare entitlement, poor foreigners slip in to America from every niche across the world. This is the derogatory meaning of an "Anchor Baby" But the truth is, it’s an honest assessment. This is the momentum of the "Chain Migration" law as through passing time, sponsorship of immediate family members can escalate and the babies born can also access public services. In addition who eventually are not financially supported becomes the taxpayer’s responsibility.

This is a welfare program that defies logic of which the fiscal impact of the misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment, drawing each year thousands of illegal pregnant women in some cases husbands who are intentionally bring their unborn child, to become a huge financial burden to taxpayers, who are forced by law to support the baby and mother under the provision the Instant citizenship law. It is estimated that 300.000 pregnant women claim citizenship for their children annually, which costs are magnified as the female keeps giving birth. That means--ONE--in--THIRTEEN is a child of an illegal alien. The parents stay and then have more babies that the taxed-out American is forced to pay for. In 1994, 74,987 instant citizen babies in maternity wards cost taxpayers $215 million in Stockton, California, without paying a penny. In 2003, 70 percent of the 2,300 babies born in San Joaquin General maternity units were from illegal parents. That number has exploded today with over four million illegal aliens residing are now residing in California. Then nine out of ten babies born in Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas stem from illegal immigrant mothers. Additional costs for illegal alien children stem from a pay day for lawyers, translators, advocates and middlemen. Medi-Cal in 2003 sponsored 760,000 illegal alien offspring in Supplemental Security Income. SSI is a non-means-treated federal grant of cash payments and food stamps and government medical care. With over three million illegal nationals arriving annually, they birth 300,000 newly issued birth certificates babies in California alone and you pay the maximum in taxes. When these legal ‘American’ babies grow reach 18, they can sponsor through ‘chain migration’ their whole family into our country. We are talking about a crisis so monolithic, your children and this nation will not survive it. The consequences are unacceptable and the cost yearly in hundreds of billions is incomprehensible?

THE SIMPLE FACT THAT INSTANT CITIZENSHIP BABY LAW WAS CONSTRUCTED FOR SOLEY NEWLY RELEASED SLAVES, AS AT THE TIME OF THE CIVIL WAR THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS ILLEGAL ALIENS IN AMERICA? SO THE QUESTION THAT SHOULD BE ASKED BY STATES AND EVENTUALLY THE SUPREME COURT IS HOW CAN THIS AMENDMENT APPLY TO FOREIGN NATIONALS, IN THE FIRST INSTANCE? ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE ILLEGAL AND SHOULD BE DEPORTED. The original intent of the 14th Amendment was clearly not to facilitate illegal aliens defying U.S. law at taxpayer expense.

IT SHOULD BE REMEMBERED THAT ORDINARY TAXPAYING AMERICANS ARE THE--STUCKEE--FOR FARM OWNERS, CORPORATE AND BUSINESSES--LARGE AND SMALL, WHICH IS SIMPLY A CRIMINAL CORPORATE GIANT WELFARE PROGRAM. Unseen to the Public eye is the Amnesties that are activated silently since 2002; seven in all, along with an average of 1.5 million legal immigrants that ends up in the US workplace, while an estimated 15 million citizens and permanent residents remain jobless? The US government rather hesitantly stated that for every ONE dollar illegal aliens get in Social Services, they receive back in tax credits, food stamps and whole mass of programs--THREE dollars.

Now it's up to the American people to speak out, get involved and demand from the new Congress a halt to any further Amnesties. This includes the Dream Act stand with States, the rising, unbounded TEA PARTY that are adjoined to mandate E-Verify nationally. This will condemn any irrational Immigration Reform as this recession is very slowly lifting finally. America has been overwhelmed by foreign nationals and their children, who keep demanding special privileges over our own low income people. Every day the numbers of illegal aliens are climbing and you as an American or green card holder pay the penalty in your taxes. Don't be mislead that there are only 12 million illegal immigrant criminals in this country?

Now is the time to significantly make a difference in the new Congress, by adding your demands to millions of other individuals to enforce our Immigration laws, as cited in the 1986 bill. Stop trying to find one answer to what Latinos think about illegal immigration. We're just as diverse as any other group of people. I wouldn't expect all white people to agree on an issue, just like I wouldn't expect Latinos to.

And no, not all of us agree with illegal immigration or believe laws against it are a slap in the face to all Latinos. Some of us are law-abiding, with families who dealt with the red tape of coming here legally and upholding the laws of this great country. While I feel sympathetic to people who are struggling to come over legally, and are tempted to do it the wrong way, I can't ultimately support it. Illegal Aliens from south of the border are stigmatizing the legal Mexican-Americans who are good citizens and Legal Latino immigrants who have played by the rules. To that last sentence, add "non-tax paying" and "charity care receiving". People are definitely fed up with the illegal immigration aspect, which is unfair to citizens that have to support.
