Tagging Crew BDSK Targeted by L.A. Sheriff's Sweep: Authorities Claim Six-Figure Damage to Area Buses, Trains
One of the perils of being in the tagging business is that you put your signature on your crime. In fact, your crime is your signature. Kind of like robbing a bank and leaving a placard saying "LA Weekly was here."

Anyway, authorities announced Wednesday that they have cracked down on a crew called BDSK that they claim has caused lots of damage to L.A. Metro buses and trains.

... has left its marks far-and-wide, from Southern California to Las Vegas. The core of the damage was near Watts, however, near the 110 and 105 freeways, authorities said.
Warrants were served today on suspects in Palmdale, South L.A. and Hawthorne, said sheriff's Lt. Vince Carter.
Transit Services Bureau deputies had been looking into BDSK for six months and handed out 17 arrest warrants Wednesday morning.
Authorities say BDSK has done hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage to buses and trains -- and they can prove it:
The tags, they claim, proclaim "BDSK" in black, white, and other colors.
