Bellflower Dad Who Threatened, Kidnapped Two Daughters Turns Up in Utah
The was an Amber Alert out this morning for 34-year-old Bellflower man Stephen Andrew Litwin, who was believed by L.A. County sheriff's deputies to have kidnapped his two young daughters Sunday at about 10:30 a.m.

But KNX news radio is reporting that Litwin just called himself into Utah police -- they're on their way to go talk to him. He's got two-year-old Katelyn and six-year-old Natalya in tow, and may have been headed to Oakdale, Connecticut, in his 2004 Mercury Mountaineer SUV, license number 5LGE045. Even more frightening:
Sheriff's Deputy Benjamin Grubb told City News Service that "Litwin has reportedly made threats to harm his two daughters."
Litwin is described as a white man with brown hair and eyes, 6-foot-4-inches tall, 165 pounds, and sporting a sleeve of tattoos on his left arm. The girls have brown eyes and hair, as well.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department just released this update, at 9:22 a.m.:
Detectives have learned that Suspect Litwin had traveled with the missing children to the state of Utah. Litwin heard about the AMBER Alert via the media, contacted the local law enforcement authorities and is awaiting interview by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives. The two girls have been located unharmed.
