Illegal Immigrants Paid $2.7 Billion in Taxes in California Last Year

• I appreciate the contribution ,but lets include what they are costing California tax payers a Staggering amount of $11.5 Billion dollars yearly and that means state taxes on  Californians  citizen a round number is $1,200 a year .So I say enough is enough they are not contributing enough to off set what they are receiving in return (free education,Healthcare,Crime is committed by more undocumented people in Los Anglees at the rate of 65% over all .Robbery,murder,rape,Have you have your car broken into undocumented people 98% overall .Californians you should call upon your state leaders and have then give a 90 day notice to All undocumented people to leave this great city of Los Angeles .Imagine crime down 67% ,Traffic down 20%. What a wonderful life we can have

• Every single illegal, undocumented worker pays property taxes. There are no exceptions, not in any county in the US, unless the undocumented worker lives in a church parsonage. Otherwise, every square inch in every apartment or rental house is taxed annually and either the tax is paid by the landlord, the mortage holder or the owner himself. The monies in rental units comes first from the undocumented resident, then in turn the land lord or mortgage holder pays the full property taxes at he end of the year. No one is exempt. Not ever. Just step in to your local county tax office and ask if they allow property to go untaxed without foreclosing in it, simply because the renter is undocumented. These property taxes generate the exact same millage rate in taxes for legal residents. there simply is no difference. Send them home and watch the property tax rolls shrink, the sales tax shrink, and the income taxs decline, as most also pay these taxes. just loom at the W2 of any undocumenbted worker. It is a myth that these folks don't pay taxes. In 2009, they paid 72 billion dollars into the Social Security system, though they'll never see a penny.  Its a fact, that many politicians ignore and clain the opposite.

• The state of california is 8 billion in the red because of free medical and free housing paid to illegals. That means that although they paid the 2.9 billion in taxes they still bankrupted the state because they took out more then they put into the system. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!

• I can't believe how ignorant people are these days. Today I found out that this years revenue from illegal immigrants in California alone is under 10 billion dollars, and no illegals DONT use welfare or medicare;they CANT without a legitimate Social Security number, I should know my family is from Mexico except for two of my siblings neither of which use government aid...my dad is a proud man and he pays for all our medical bills. I work 12 hours a day as a waiter at a huge hotel agency where we set up food and tables for hundreds of people and serve huge trays of plates at a time and ALL of my coworkers are illegal...all the people who apply with a good social end up getting fired because they dont work hard or they mess up too much or cant carry a tray cuz its too heavy. We've had white, asian and black people who say they really need a job come in and then they complain about everything and fuck up too much, we had a black dude leave during a huge event at a hotel this dude left after working 4 hours to have a 30 minute smoke break, he got fired when he got back...the average american just doesn't work as hard as us. I'm working to pay for my college since i can't get financial aid and all my friends who get financial aid end up getting a bunch of classes to get a shitload of money and buy themselves a car,ps3,a tv, an iphone lol while im working my ass off wishing i could get financial aid to buy myself some books...my family can't get benefits but we do pay taxes my dad has what is called a TIN which allows him to pay taxes without any benefits except publice schooling, and to all the people who think we're here to fuck shit up I live in long beach and all of my illegal friend here are working and going to school, i graduated high school with a 3.7 gpa i took 4 AP classes my final year and I was the dude in calculus class or physics who would help everyone else out, and now everyone else is in a good univeristy but me :P im stuck being a waiter for people who don't appreciate what i do for them half the time. fuck it though i would much rather live here then in mexico, but you racist idiots always need scapegoats...if i can remember clearly women and blacks were inferior to the racist white man and i guess now its our turn to be hated by everyone even though we work twice as hard without any benefits(living somewhere were I'm not constantly afraid my family will be killed or kidnapped is the only true benefit).

• The majority of people on any type of goverment welfare are Americans. Illegals are to afraid to seek help, especially with how outrageous people are. Although my parents came to this country without the proper documentation we have never taken money from the government but have always paid taxes. Even when natural born americans go to school and waste financial aid money my family pays out of pocket. And those jobs illegals are "stealing", are not jobs people want. Last i knew they were field workers, janitors, and cooks... Not the guy in finances who stold your corner office promotion.

So IF they paid into the system, and are living on min wage how in the hell do they supply what is needed to take care of all the kids they have?  GEE, lets take a guess, food stamps, welfare, free medical from the LEGAL TAX PAYERS,...naw they wouldn't do a thing like that now would they, nor would they obtain a car, drink, drive, kill, run away from the scene after an accident to hide in the orchards....naw they wouldn't do that, nor would they follow our landscaping trailers, strip them when we are LEGALLY working in someones back yard, to strip the trailers of mowers, blowers, chainsaw etc. to start their own ILLEGAL landscaping business now would they....naw,  Which makes our damned insurance go through the roof.  We caught 2 of them a few months back, boy do they regret cutting that chain off the trailer.

• These bogus figures typically count the rent that illegals pay for their housing as "property taxes." As if no one would rent those houses or apartment if illegals weren't there. . .gee I never knew that a guy paying 200 bucks a month in rent for the right to sleep on the floor of an overstuffed 2-bedroom apartment was just as much of a "property tax" payer as I am, with an annual bill of 8K for the property taxes on my house. • Illegal aliens that have NOT stolen an ID (about 3 million) can apply for citizenship after they return to their home countries. Illegal alien criminals that have stolen an ID must leave the country and they will not be allowed to apply for citizenship. They have already proven to be undesirable.

• These figures are from a dubious source, at best. the state of California has issued a recent statement that the state does not track taxes paid into the tax withholding system by people using false or stolen taxpayer ID's. So the bottom line is, that anyone claiming that they know how much income taxes are paid by illegals in California is full of sh!t

• If American citizens were working these jobs instead of the illegal aliens, would they be paying millions in taxes, also? Illegal aliens are destroying this Country, and one would have to be almost blind not to see this. How much longer do we have to support these illegal aliens? How much longer do we have to school their illegal alien children? How much longer are we going to let them have our jobs? How much longer are we going to put up with all the crime, stolen identities, forged documents, fake green cards? • Without any serious documentation to back up this "claim" the only applicable comment would be that it's a drop in the bucket compared to what those very same illegals cost the state of California ... DO THE MATH!

• To bad you couldn't use them as a scapegoat for your sub-par journalism. You told me the total $ figures that the undocumented contributed from a bundle of tax mechanisms. However, what you don't provide is the number of undocumented workers that contributed to the tax revenue. For example a quick Google search gave me the data from the 2000 census (probably not the most recent data but it will illustrate my point). There are approximately 2.2 million illegal immigrants in California, 1.0 million in Texas and only 337 thousand in Florida. Simple math tells us that on a per illegal immigrant basis, the hard working ones in Texas and Florida contribute more than the ones do here in California. Dennis, I know you can use statistics to prove whatever point that you want. For your sake, please ask yourself some basic questions before cherry picking data and running a story with conclusions that are obviously wrong if given a grade school level of analysis. Please update your post so you are not misleading your readers.
