Donald Trump Calls Out Obama For His Stoner, Underachieving Days at Occidental College in L.A.

We've seen the photos of President Obama during his L.A. college years. He's got some hair. And his pants had flair. And, well, he even admitted to smoking "reefer" in his 1995 memoir.

Yeah, we even imagine a "bow-chica-bow-wow" soundtrack following the future president named Barry as he strutted on the Eagle Rock campus of Occidental College.

Heck, it was 1979, the era (and not far from the area, San Diego) that spawned Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Everyone was high. Unfortunately, successfully rebutted on the birther issue, Donald Trump now wants to see the president's L.A. school records.

His reasoning is that Obama couldn't have possibly gotten to Harvard without special help.

You know, this is the old anti-affirmative action argument (because white guys like Donald never got a break in life). Props to Face the Nation's Bob Schieffer (whose brother has been in the local news lately). He said of Trump's grade challenge: "That's just code for saying he got into law school because he's black. This is an ugly strain of racism that's running through this whole thing."

Trump declared that Obama needs to release his Occidental College school records, to dispel rumors that he was a bad student who did not deserve a transfer to Columbia University, and later acceptance to Harvard Law School, where he edited the law review and was widely praised by his teachers and peers as a standout intellect. "How do you get into Harvard if you are not a good student?" Trump said. "I don't know why he doesn't release his records."

Okay, Donald, we'll push the prez to let us see his precious report cards if you show us all the loan documents that helped make you the ultimate on-paper millionaire, at least early in your own career as a hollow mogul.

And let's be fair here: Obama was performing as part of a peer group that partied, got stoned and rocked out perhaps more than any other. In fact 1979 was a peak year for American marijuana use among young people. The future president fit in just fine.

Today's millennial kids, with their 4.0+ GPAs (unheard of in those days) and pushy, doting parents (of Obama's generation, ironically) who don't take Bs for an answer from teachers, are products of grade inflation.

So, to account for that, lets consider the grade deflation of Obama's days, when otherwise bright people killed many a brain cell and listened to too much Zep. That's like a 4.5 GPA by today's measuring stick.

And hey, the guy did alright. At least he still has his real hair.

Occidental has a transfer agreement with Columbia. There's your affirmative action. That in combination with good grades put him on the path to Harvard. And even if affirmative action did play some role, you have to consider why the policy came into play: discriminatory old white men like 'the Donald.'

Trust me. From the historic violations and abuses over the course of the "developement " of this country from the white, corporate/political establishment, President Obama's grades are beside the point. Trump should focus on his "show" and stick to what he knows best which is making millions in "business ventures". The President is trying to slowly make change in this country and it's hard enough without a "neutral" figure like Trump scrutinizing his ability to be admitted to Harvard or any other Ivy League school. I'm sure Trump has skeletons in his closet he would rather never come out.

Barry soetoro was his name at occidental, he received his scholarships based on being a foreign national. could care less about his grades!

I agree but if affirmative action was part of this, its going to be the governments backlash for claiming ''equality for all'' unless your White, because all Whites live in mansions and have a wait staff and butlers. according to democrats.. if you wanna call anybody racist, its the liberal government who invented ''affirmative action'' which is actually racist and discriminatory. Trump sucks, but at least hes a messenger of facts that America tries to hide. if in fact that ''affirmative action'' was part of obamas education, this would explain why hes doing a lousy job as President.. most ''affirmative action'' students are not really high achivers when or if they finish college. alot of them get jobs that they could of got with just a high school diploma or an AA from a junior college. seems like the democrats want to hang a person who says ''best man for the job''

Number one beneficiary of affirmative action was White women since the 1960'sNumber two beneficiary the White men in their lives. Nixon expanded the program to include all non white Whites, plus White Latinos.Today White disabled, White Veterans, and in some areas White homosexuals,benefit from Affrimative Actions.

Of course the ultimate preference is giving to members of families with money. George W. Bush, Dan Quayle, and Donald Trump's son in law got into ivy league schools with C averages and money.

Who's that ignorant to say that all whites have mansions, nanny's and staff. Amazing. Affirmative action benefited women more when it was put into place so check the facts. Mismanagement is the direct result of bad choices not bad or good education. In the Presidents case bad management,and choices were in place long before he took the job. So (place wrong answer sound here). Donald Trump is a Loud mouth publicity Whore trying to hang on to his assets before he files another bankruptcy. Also more ratings and endorsements for his show.
