Sex Groper on the Loose in San Pedro: LAPD Says He Grabs Women Late at Night
A serial butt-grabber is on the loose in San Pedro, police announced today. They want to get the sexual-battery suspect before the crimes escalate, LAPD Det. Lou Paglialonga tells the Weekly.

So far there's no indication the guy likes to do anything worse than grabbing the asses and breasts of unsuspecting women late at night in the residential north end of San Pedro, he said. But you never know.
Here's what we do know:
The suspect, described as a twentysomething Latino about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, has been operating near Santa Cruz Street and Pacific Avenue since last July, according to the LAPD.
The last of seven attacks was reported in March, Paglialonga said.
"I'm encouraging people who are victims and have not reported it to report it now," he told us. "Some of these crimes don't go reported."
The detective said he thinks the suspect has consistently targeted the Santa Cruz-Pacific neighborhood because he "either they lives there or frequently visits there."
