[Update: Wren's father hunted her down Saturday in Westlake. According to City News Service, she's now receiving medical treatment -- perhaps having to do with reported past struggles with drug addiction -- in Riverside. Sizemore's statement to TMZ: "I'm relieved and happy Megan is safe and sound. It is unfortunate that she did not come forward immediately as this has caused me a lot of concern. However, I am pleased no harm has come to Megan and I wish her and her family the best and I am putting this matter behind me.''] Originally posted May 12 at 1:15 p.m.

Tom Sizemore's girlfriend -- or, if you ask his publicist, not his girlfriend but "a girl he's known for a long, long time" -- seems to have vanished without a trace.

Twenty-five-year-old Megan Lacy Wren has been missing for almost a month-and-a-half: She was last seen on March 31 near Vermont Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard in Westlake, City News Service reports. Hmm. If there's one thing we know about Westlake, it's that nice white girls who date celebrities (albeit washed-up ones) don't tend to hang out there for fun. They've got to really want something. And usually, that something is drugs.

Some more indications Wren might have been in a dangerous, er, mind state:

Her last Facebook activity was on March 28, when she congratulated "cousin" Nicole Vejar for getting sober, saying "Email the CEO of Sobriety and have his people talk to my people about another opportunity. Put in a good word for me hUH????"

Vejar's response, just one day before Wren disappeared:

"meggie you can call me anytime.. im sure there is a spot for you right next to me and many people to cheer you on..me being one of them..dont forget your family loves you very much and as always i will support you in your choices.. i love you so much and miss you tremendously! call me sometime xoxo nic p.s. you always have another chance at life, youre so young and beautiful if i can do it so can you cousin!"

TMZ reports that Wren had been living with Sizemore for the last six months. Making it very awkward that, while Wren's profile lists her as "in a relationship, Sizemore's says he's "in an open relationship." Troubles on the homefront, perhaps?

Now, LAPD investigators seem to be eyeing the "Saving Private Ryan" actor, equally infamous for meth abuse and otherwise unlawful behavior, and twice Wren's age, as a suspicious person in the case. Via TMZ:

According to law enforcement, multiple witnesses claim Megan was last seen with Sizemore. We spoke to one of Megan's family members -- who told us, she last spoke with Megan about a month ago ... and she "sounded like she was in a bad place." We're told the family has made several attempts to reach out to Sizemore for help -- but he's been blowing them off. Calls to Sizemore weren't returned.
