Ginger Lee, Anthony Weiner's Porn-Star Sexter, Hires Gloria Allred to Protect Her Good Name

Is Ginger Lee hiding something?

Some dirt is about to drop on Nashville porn star Ginger Lee, one of New York politician Anthony Weiner's chosen women (and the sexiest of the sexters, if we do say so ourselves), according to a cagey statement issued by her freshly hired lawyerette. Though L.A.'s go-to sex attorney is up to her ears in Schwarzenegger mistresses and gay prison guards, she's agreed to represent Lee in her mission to not look like a total ho, perhaps preserving some semblance of a respectable porn career (oxymoron?), once Weinergate dies down.

Allred's stern statement, via TMZ:

"Ms. Lee has asked me to issue this statement, because an individual has threatened her with a release of another statement which purports to be from her, but which she has not authorized."

Allred would not say who the individual is or what the nature of the threat is, but says, "Ginger would like it to be known that she has not authorized any person, except me, her attorney, to issue statements on her behalf."

Allred adds, "Any unauthorized statement may contain inaccuracies and should be viewed with suspicion and not published."

Lee is in an especially sensitive position, thanks to Weiner's total doofus move to sik his PR employees (courtesy of the taxpaying public) on the task of ensuring his sexting partner's discrepancy. Durr.

"The key is to have a short, thought out statement that tackles the top line questions and then refer people back to it," he allegedly told Lee. "Have a couple of iterations of: 'This is silly. Like so many others, I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter. I don't know him and have never met him. He briefly followed me and sent me a dm saying thank you for the follow. That's it.'"

Here's the false statement he suggested Lee use (we like Allred's better):

"I have nothing to do with the situation involving Rep Weiner. I follow his twitter feed. And for a brief time he followed me. Much has been made of the fact that I have posted about my admiration for Rep Weiner and his politics. All I can say about that is that I'm a fan of his. Rep. Weiner sent me one short direct message thanking me for following him. I have never met Rep. Weiner and he has never sent me anything innappopriate [sic] ..."

Ironic, considering Lee describes herself as candid and anti-PR on her Tumblr:

"What can I say about myself that doesn't sound like something a PR person wrote in an attempt to attract people to read what I say? I have no flippin' clue. Ok... How about feminism, cool photos, advice, stripping, modeling, random rants, and anything else I find interesting."

Cool photos? Teehee.
