Japan 6.7: Earthquake Strikes Country Again, Prompting a Tsunami Alert That Doesn't Cover California (So Far)

As if Japan needs any more shaking or waves, a 6.7 earthquake hit the east coast of Honshu, Japan today, prompting a tsunami warning for that area, but not for us.

According to Associated Press:

The U.S. Pacific Tsunami warning center said that it did not expect a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami from the quake.
