Paul Rusconi, Famed Malibu Pop Artist, Arrested on Suspicion of Molesting His Baby Girls

This is a good example of how people (the media, some of the people who commented below) assume that someone who is accused is automatically guilty. Rusconi has now been proven innocent. I suspect the accusations had more to do with his being a gay father, than any proof that he was molesting his twin girls. If you saw the photos of him with his girls in the bath (which the accusations were based on) you'd see that they are in no way sexual.

This is totally a false accusation made by someone in retaliation. Paul will be cleared and soon. People should not get on the bandwagon and make these huge speculations without knowing anything. Yes, sadly child molestation does occur by family member, but false accusations are also made quite frequently and they can ruin a man's life, so please save your judgements until the facts come out. All this is about a picture of the twins in the bath....who's loving parents haven't taken the perverbial "bath" picture??? Mine is in my family's photo album and no one thinks a thing of it!!!!!!!! So please, save your harsh remarks until the truth comes out.

I know Paul as well. I have spent time with him ,his two little girls, and yes;my 6 year old son. I have never seen Paul treat my son or his own children with anything but the utmost love. I am enraged that news organizations would write these articles AND GIVE HIS ADDRESS without anything other than "Paul Rusconi has been charged with....". No one has spoken to the DA or Police dept to get a statement about what grounds he was arrested on???? Very poor journalism. BTW....his two little girls can barely speak much less tell anyone that their daddy was molesting them....

Let me say the Nation needs to work on change to help protect the children!!! Listen to the children. I have experienced first hand that this is a national problem of where the parents rights are protected more than a childs!!!. Children who do speak and articulate well aren't taken seriously, unless they have phyical trauma to them. The psychological effects outway the physical. He'll probably get off cause he is a parent........ and a parent with money!

You say "he'll probably get off.." As if you know him or know for a fact that he is guilty. And you seem to think you know about his finances....you presume a lot... I myself have experienced this 1st hand. Mostly because I was accused of molesting my 3 year old son and later acquitted . I am not sure what your experience has been and I am very sorry if you or someone you know was hurt. But your assumptions are not based on any facts about Paul or his two amazing little girls. It is awful that children really are being abused and there is nobody to help them but that doesn't mean everyone who is accused is guilty and will only get off "because he is a parent...and a parent with money!". Paul will be back together with his girls because EVERY person that spends time him and his family says the same thing; that paul is a truly loving,kind, and patient father. When he is found innocent it will be because of the evidence..

I ALSO KNOW PAUL, AND HE WOULD NEVER HURT CHILDREN NOR HIS OWN CHILDREN. PAUL IS AN AMAZING PERSON AND HE WILL EVENTUALLY HAVE HIS CHILDREN BACK IN HIS HOME. PAUL I WISH YOU ONLY SUPPORT AND LOVE.

You have absolutely NO information about this allegation, so any conclusions you draw are just wild guesses. Oh, and children don't lie about these things? Please. I hope your movie is better informed than you.

Now it seems to me there is more focus on who he is rather than what he has done. One day people will start to realize that you don't have to look a certain way or do certain things to be a freak. It stems from the slums to the White House. So until he's proven innocent, believe the child. because children don't lie about something like that, especially @ 20months old.

Mr. Rusconi had innocent pictures of him swimming in a pool with his daughters on his computer and his moronic computer repair person saw them and turned him in. I think the computer repair guy is the pervert here. There are many pics of me nude as a baby and toddler, as there are of most children. It is so normal. It's saddens me that someone's life can be ruined because of one idiot's inability to separate nudity from sex.

I am working on a movie now in reference to this very situation and I have done my research and if you think, FATHERS, GRANDFATHERS, MOTHERS, GRANDMOTHERS are not molesting their family members, please do your research, you will be shocked to see the statistics.......

“This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I know Paul, and he is the most wonderful person and values his children more than anything in the world. I have spent time with Paul and his girls, and he’s a phenomenal father and he’d sooner die than allow harm to come to them; let alone bring harm to them. To accuse him of a sex crime is insane. This is an awful awful mistake, and whoever made these false allegation s should be arrested themselves .
